The Industry Jargons in Evergrowth helps salespeople understand and use industry-specific terms and abbreviations. It acts as a glossary, letting you look up, add, and review jargon that is relevant to your target industries or verticals. Each term is linked to a specific ecosystem (industry segment), and the platform’s AI generates a clear, personalized description for each term.
When should I use it?
When you encounter unfamiliar industry terms or abbreviations during sales calls, emails, or research.
When training new sales reps to help them learn the language of your target markets.
Before You Start
Only Admins can create Industry jargon terms
Note: This feature is currently standalone and does not impact agent workflows or automation.
Step-by-Step Guides
How to Look Up an Industry Jargon
Go to Playbook >> Industry jargons
Use CTRL+F (Windows) or CMD+F (Mac) and search for specific term.
(For Admins) How to Add a New Industry Jargon Term
Use this when you or your team encounter a new term or abbreviation that is not already in the list.
Go to Agent Training Center >> Industry jargons
Click the “+ Add new” button.
Select the appropriate ecosystem from the dropdown menu.
Enter the term or abbreviation in the Term Field.
Optionally, provide additional context or a manual explanation for the term.
Click “Create”. The platform’s AI will generate a personalized, industry-specific description.
How to edit/remove Industry jargon term
Go to Agent Training Center >> Industry jargons
Click “Edit” or “Delete” icon next to specific term.
