Connecting Evergrowth to your HubSpot Fields
Preliminary Steps
These preliminary steps will ensure that can you set up your connection in one short session, without needing to jump back and forth between Evergrowth and your CRM!
We suggest you ensure that you have the below fields in your HubSpot records.
This could mean checking your existing properties for a good fit, or creating new properties specifically for new Evergrowth data!
Evergrowth Property Label | Comment | |
Companies |
|
|
Account Score | Number | This is the score out of 100 calculated by your Research Agents on how many of your customer signals are matched |
Evergrowth Tag | Single-line text | Useful for custom views & dashboard filtering in both systems |
Evergrowth Workflow ID | Dropdown select | Dropdown list mapped to the exact names the Evergrowth workflows you have configured.
If you have configured many workflows, or will be adding/changing these, setting the Property type to Single-line text is recommended |
Account Plan | Multi-line text |
|
Contacts |
|
|
Persona Role | Freetext | This will connect to the Evergrowth IBP Expertise to capture the contact's role |
Evergrowth Tag | Single-line text | This will allow the sync of Evergrowth record tags - useful for custom views & dashboard filtering in both systems! |
For guidance on this task, see HubSpot's knowledgebase article:
Connecting your Fields
Step 1) While in Settings β‘οΈ Integration β‘οΈ HubSpot, scroll down until you find Users, Accounts, Contacts tabs
βStep 2) In each of these tabs, within the text box, find the name of the HubSpot field where you wish for Evergrowth to sync data, like so:
Step 3) Map all the fields for your HubSpot Users, Companies & Contacts
Step 4) Click Save once you've mapped all the fields - You can return to map additional fields later
The below Google Sheet lists all the fields we recommend connecting between Evergrowth and HubSpot
For those you want to connect, ensure they are created in your HubSpot data model using the provided data types (like we mentioned in Preliminary Steps)
Creating an Evergrowth view in HubSpot
This section will show how to embed Evergrowth's Insights & Agents within your HubSpot views.
FYI: You only have to do this once! After you created this view, your users will have access to it automatically - no need for them all to create it themselves!
Step 1) In HubSpot, Head to Settings, then Objects β‘οΈ Companies
Step 2) Open the Record Customization tab
Step 3) In the layout editor, click Add
Step 4) From your Card Library, choose Evergrowth Company
Step 5) Once you've configured the view how you want it to appear for your users, click to Save
You can now do the same for your Contact views too:

Part 2 - Customizing your Evergrowth Connection
Filtering Evergrowth Records
This refers to filtering which records you wish Evergrowth to push to HubSpot.
(If you wish to push sync all Evergrowth records and data to HubSpot, you can ignore this!)
Step 1) In Evergrowth, go to Settings β‘οΈ Integrations β‘οΈ HubSpot
Step 2) Open the Filters tab
Step 3) Alongside Accounts or Contacts, click Edit Filters
Step 4) Here you can begin adding field rules (and groups of field rules*) to limit which Evergrowth records should sync with HubSpot
*If only using 1 field for your filtering, this still needs to be in a "Group" - this will just be a group of 1!
Recommended Filters
The simplest filter we recommend is only pushing records to HubSpot where:
ICP = Yes (for Accounts)
and
IBP = Yes (for Contacts)
Pushing your Account Research Data to HubSpot
Your Account research Data is extremely useful in Evergrowth for qualifying Accounts, prioritizing with the Account Score, and crafting bespoke account plans and Plays.
However, you can also push this research data automatically to HubSpot so all of your Customer Facing teams have easy access to your Evergrowth data and benefit from your Agentic insights!
Step 1) Create properties in HubSpot where you want the specific research to be populated (see above steps)
Step 2) In Evergrowth, go to Settings β‘οΈ Integrations β‘οΈ HubSpot
Step 3) Scroll down to the Accounts tab
Step 4) Find the Agent whose research you wish to sync to HubSpot
Step 5) Select the field from Step 1 to push the research to!
Step 6) Click Save
Pushing your Persona Insights to HubSpot Contacts
Exactly the same as above, you can push contact-level insights about your buyers.
As seen in the above screenshot, it's a pragmatic approach to label your HubSpot properties with "Evergrowth -" in the name
Setting default CRM Sync Workflow
When records are pushed from HubSpot to Evergrowth, you can configure an Evergrowth workflow which launches automatically, passing those HubSpot records to your Evergrowth Agents to work with!
Step 1) In Evergrowth, go to Automations β‘οΈ Workflows
Step 2) Click βοΈ Set Default Workflows
Step 3) Under "CRM Sync" for Accounts & Contacts, select the Evergrowth workflow you wish to automatically launch
Coming Soon π
Soon, you'll be able to speficfy different workflows for CRM sync based on records being created in Evegrowth (e.g. for new inbound leads) vs updated in Evergrowth (e.g. for dormant recycling)
Part 3 - Backfill Sync
Once your Integration is fully configured, it's time to get both your CRM and Evergrowth data sets in sync.
Not only is this good practice for moving forward with many of the of the GTM processes you can configure in Evergrowth, it is necessary so you can ensure duplicate records are not created by the integration sync.
To request the backfill sync please notify your Evergrowth contact (or reach out to our customer team here) to let us know that you're ready for the backfill and one of our database admins will initiate this for you
NB. Depending on the size of your CRM repository, this task may take us a few hours to complete
Troubleshooting
If you have set up fields incorrectly, Evergrowth will display these issues for you to remedy.
To find and investigate these issues, open the Setup tab of the Integration and expand the Validation errors to see the field where there is an issue and how you can fix it.
Usually the error messages will be simple explanations that require a simple fix!
For example, changing field types or updating dropdown options so that both Evergrowth & HubSpot have compatible values.
What's next?
Dormant Recycling
With a connection between your CRM Accounts/Contacts and Evergrowth, now is the perfect time to set up a Dormant Account recycling workflow
Signal Monitoring
For Accounts which didn't convert (maybe it wasn't the right time) or where you closed but left a lot of room for expansion, you can schedule your Evergrowth Agents to run a regular research workflow and push updated insights to your CRM.
This workflow will surface insights when signals come back with a stronger intent and could be the key to ensuring you aren't missing out on potential revenue due to timing!
