Updated over 2 months ago

Getting your CSV

Evergrowth accepts bulk-imports in the form of CSV.

If you're list is currently in a Excel/Google Sheet, you'll need to export this as a new filetype to csv

In Excel: File ➡️ Save As ➡️ Computer ➡️ Save as Type ➡️ CSV (comma delimited)

Save As option on the File tab

In Google Sheets: File ➡️ Download ➡️ CSV

Bulk Importing Contacts (& Accounts)

This may seem obvious, but Contacts cannot exist unless part of an Account. This is why you cannot import contacts without including the 2 below Account fields highlighted below

Step 1) Head to the Contacts repository

Step 2) Click Add New ➡️ Upload CSV

Step 3) In the pop-out importer, upload your CSV file

Your file must have a column for Contact's Linkedin URL or First Name & Last Name

You must also include an Account's Account Name & Domain for the contact to attach to!

These columns also must be populated for every row you wish to import!

Step 4) Before clicking Create, you can select which workflow you wish to run automatically for your imported Accounts (or select "None") and whether to tag the accounts you are importing

Bulk Importing Accounts

To bulk import accounts, follow the below steps:

Step 1) Head to the Accounts Repository

Step 2) Click Add New ➡️ Upload CSV

Step 3) In the pop-out importer, upload your CSV file

Your file must have a Column for Account Name and Domain

These columns also must be populated for every row you wish to import!

Step 4) Before clicking Create, you can select which Workflow you wish to run automatically for your imported Accounts (or select "None") and whether to tag the accounts you are importing

NB. Importing Accounts which already exist will not create duplicates - it will overwrite any values for those existing accounts with data from your CSV file

Pro Data Management Use cases

Bulk Export & Re-Import

If you need to make some en-masse amendments to your data quickly (such as applying tags) you can do this by exporting to a spreadsheet, editing in your editor of choice (Excel or Google Sheets) then importing your updated data back into Evergrowth.

Manually mark records as ICP & jump into specific Research Workflows

You may have recently procured a set of prospect accounts/contacts (e.g. from a recent Event) where the initial steps of the thorough GTM where Account Qualification may exclude some of these leads.

While importing your Accounts & Contacts, you can choose to launch a Workflow you've configured which will bypass the qualification step and get straight to Research, Account Planning & Play crafting!
