Bulk-Setting your Account Relationships

Learn how to set Parent-Child links for all your Accounts in one task

Updated over a month ago

Parent-Child links are a useful way to visualise company relationships and prevent Contact Finder duplicating contacts between Companies from the same group.

If you have been using Evergrowth without making this connection for your records without needing to do it one-by-one in the app

These steps will show how to perform a bulk-update so your Evergrowth system fully captures all the company relationships (those that you are aware of, anyway!)

Steps

Step 1) Create your bulk-update spreadsheet, including the below columns:

Account Name + Account Domain

Then

Child Account Name + Child Domain
OR
Parent Account Name + Parent Domain

Step 2) Populate the spreadsheet, ensuring that the values in the Child/Parent Account Name and Child/Parent Domain rows match a real Account and Domain, respectively

NB. You do not need to populate BOTH for a single relationship

For example, If you have both Nestle and Nespresso, you can simply list Nestle as the Parent. Evergrowth will ignore blank columns.

Step 3) Export your spreadsheet to a CSV file

Step 4) In your Evergrowth Accounts repository, click Add new ➡️ Upload CSV

While importing, set the Workflow to "None" - otherwise, you risk re-qualifying and researching ALL your accounts and potentially wasting many credits!

Step 5) Upload your file and click Create
