Our standard Evergrowth Chrome Extension is designed as a prospecting partner. While browsing LinkedIn, it allows you to instantly push a contact from their LinkedIn page and pass them to your Evergrowth Agents for qualification, enrichment, research, and even play-drafting.
This Advanced extension is more expansive.
However, whereas our standard extension is plug-and-play and ready to use immediately, the Advanced extension requires a bit more setup...
Prerequisites
1 - Syncing EG-CON-ID to your other systems
While running, the Advanced Chrome Extension constantly checks the page for a contact reference that indicates which Evergrowth record to load.
The specific field it searches for is "EG-CON-ID"
Therefore, you need to make sure this field exists in your other systems
The simplest way to do this is to leverage a native CRM integration
Here, you can map the Evergrowth Field Contact Unique ID to
Once you've configured your Evergrowth ➡️ CRM sync for this field, repeat that sync from your CRM to any other system which will need to display it for the Chrome Extension.
2 - Displaying EG-CON-ID for your Contact Records
Once you have set up Evergrowth, your CRM, and connected tools to populate EG-CON-ID for contacts, you’ll need to add this field to views so the Chrome Extension can easily find and use it.
See below where this has been added to the key fields in a Contact view in Outplay:
NB. Just adding the field to your contact views may not be enough!
If hidden beneath a "Show more" button, it may need to be actively 'revealed' before users see results:
In such case, you'll avoid confusion for your users by moving the field to a prominent position on the contact record!
Installing the Extension
Step 1) Click below to download the Extension (these are Google Drive links):
Step 2) In your Downloads, double click to unzip this folder
Step 3) Head to your Extensions menu and click Load unpacked
Step 4) Click the folder you just unzipped, then click Select
Using the Extension
While browsing other systems, simply launch it!
You will need to enter your Evergrowth login details upon first launch
The extension will wait for a contact record with an EG-CON-ID. When found, it will instantly open the record so you can view their Plays:
